Another actor's successor will enter the southern silver screen. Akshit Sasikumar, the son of Kannada Supreme Hero Sasikumar, who is well known to the Kannada and Telugu audiences, is getting acquainted as a hero. Akshit Rishikumar's debut film Sitayanam was made in Telugu and Kannada. Produced by Lalita Rajyalakshi under the banner of Color Clouds Entertainments, the film is directed by Prabhakar Aripaka. Anahita Bhushan played the heroine. Presented by Rohan Bhardwaj, the film is planned to be released soon.
It will be dubbed into Telugu, Kannada and Tamil and will be released on the same day in all languages. The film has already completed shooting and is busy with post-production work. After completing the dubbing and re-recording work, DTS is celebrating the final mixing activities at Prasad Lab.
Sitayanam was filmed without compromising at any stage. The shooting will last for 63 days in Bangkok, Bangalore, Mangalore, Hyderabad, Vizag and Agumbe. The tag line 'Respect Woman' has to be given a definite justification. Padmanabh Bhardwaj, son of renowned Kannada music director Upendra Kumar, is introducing himself as the music director. The songs provided by Padmanabh Bhardwaj in the film Sitayanam are impressive and for the first time in decades we are bringing a hymn that has been on Telugu wedding greetings into song form. Another highlight of the film is that the breathless verses of the song are sung by Shweta Mohan, a popular singer in Kannada and Telugu.
