Mahesh Babu  is the son of the actor Siva Rama Krishna.Mahesh Babu is an Indian film actor best known for his work in Telugu cinema.His first leading  role was in the film Rajakumarudu,  which was released in August  1999.Mahesh Babu was into movies  since his childhood. However, he took  a break to concentrate on his studies.  Much of his education happened in  Chennai.Mahesh Babu's nickname is  Prince.These accomplishments, have  established him as one of the most  sought after actors in Telugu  Cinema.

                        He is married to Bollywood actress Namrata Shirodkar.He had son Gautham  born in 31 Aug 2006.He was listed at 5th position among Times 50 Most Desirable Men for the year 2011 and at 12th place the year before.An avid self help book reader, A New Earth.A fitness freak, Mahesh Babu runs for about 45 - 50 minutes for 7 1/2 kms everyday.6' 3" tall Mahesh Babu, married co-star in Vamsi, Namrata Sirodkar on February 10, 2005 after dating for two years. The couple named their son Gautham Krishna.Mahesh Babu has worked in nine films as a child artist and in seventeen films as a lead actor till date.
