Catherine full name is Catherine Tresa. She was born and brought up in Dubai.Catherine Tresa is basically known for her appearance in Kannada films as an actress.She works in South Indian film industry. Catherine Tresa mother tongue is Malayalam.She also works as a model. She has taken birth in Dubai to a catholic parents.She has acted in Kannada, Malayalam and Telugu films.Up to 12th standard she studied in Dubai.                     

                         She moved to Bangalore for higher education.She has good command over Hindi (mother tongue) and English language.She says, “I don’t speak fluent Malayalam, it’s mostly English that we speak at home.She appeared in many commercials before her film debut.After completing her 12th she moved to Bangalore, India for higher studies and making Career in modeling and acting. I speak decent Hindi though and now I’m taking lessons in Telugu.In 2010 she made her film debut in Kannada.In the year 2010 she got a chance to work in a kannada film “Shankar IPS”.She did her Grade twelve in Dubai and moved to Bangalore to do higher education. In 2010she got a chance to work in her mother tongue Malayalam.This was her breakthrough in South Indian cinema.She studied for two years in St. Joseph's College, Bangalore.Later she signed for 2 Kannada films.“Godfather” is her most successful movie and she nominated for best actress for this movie.While she studied, she also learnt to play a musical instrument, sing and dance, did ice skating and got comfortable with public speaking. In her acting career she has worked in approx ten south Indian movies.She has modeled for Nalli Silks, Chennai Silks, Fast Track, Josco Jewellers and Deccan Chronicle.In 2013 she made her debut in Telugu in the movie chamak challo which was directed Neela kanta.“Paisa” is her upcoming movie which is filming now. She has also shot for Srikantadatta Wodeyar's Maharaja Calendar and has been participating with Prasad Bidapa in many ramp shows in many cities.Her acting ability was recognized with that movie and got a chance to pair with Allu Arjun and Nani in upcoming projects.
