She's a Kannadiga from the Kannadigas dominated city of Maharashtra Solapur.Vedhika Kumar was born on 21st Feb 1988 in Mumbai, India in a ethnic Kannadiga family.Vedika Kumar is a South Indian film actress who has appeared in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films.Vedhika Kumar first film is Madrasi in this film she co-stared with well established actor Arjun.Vedhika Kumar’s birth name is Pooja Kumar and she preferred to use Vedhika Kumar as her screen name.

                           She is an ethnic Kannadiga from the city of Solapur, Maharashtra. She did diploma in interior designing from L.S. Raheja School of Architecture.this film did well at the box office after the sucess this film was
dubbed into Telugu language film as Sivakasi.Vedhika has a degree in Business Administration and completed her masters in Marketing from “Cardiff University” in U.K.After the success in Madrasi she got another chance to act in the Tamil film Muni.Her father’s name is Pappu who is a photographer and businessman as well and her mother’s name is ‘Lalita’ who is a House wife.Then she appeared in Kaalai opposite actor,Simbu aliasSilambarasan. After her education she decided to take acting as her career and joined “Kishore Namith Kapoor School” to improve her acting skills.Shivsagar started working from the age of 15.Her latest movie is a Kannada movie called
Sangama opposite Ganesh. Before entering the films she worked as a model and did few local ads. She did an ad with tamil actor Surya for Sun Feast biscuit company.Vedika’s sister Rupali Kshirsagar was also a trained fashion designer who did her Fashion designing course from N.I.F.D.Tamil film with newcomer Shanthnoo Bhagyaraj in the film, Sakkarakatti, which has A. R. Rahman as the music director.She made her acting debut with Tamil film “Madrasi” opposite Arjun Sarja in 2005 but since it was action movie her role was not stressed much.She also has a younger sister who works as a senior executive in Dainik Bhaskar newspaper.Her Telugu debut was with “Vijayadasami” in 2007, the movie did okay at box office.Besides acting she is also involved in charity works, she helped lots of poor peoples in her career.
