Shriya Saran Profile

She began her career acting in music videos.Shriya who’s original name is Shriya Saran is from Dehradun.
The beautiful Saran lady has worked extensively in regional films. She is the daughter of NeerajaSaran and Pushpendra Saran.she gained Telugu cinema's attention in 2002 by playing the role of Bhanu in Santhosham,
her first major hit.Within a brief period, she has created a niche for herself pocketing role opposite the legendary Rajnikaant in Sivaji.She is now settled in Mumbai. 

                        She was born on 11th September, 1982.Saran became a national figure after her performance alongside Rajinikanth in Sivaji.She also worked in quite a few Hindi films.Like Tujhe Meri Kasam (2003), Awaarapan (2007), and Mission Istanbul (2008) etc.She has completed her B.A and is a great Kathak dancer.Saran's first screen appearance was in the music video of Tirakthi Kyon Hawa by Reenu Nathan.Saran worked in the English film, The Other End of the Line (2008) along with Jesse Metcalfe.She made her Tamil movie debut in 'Enakku 20 Unakku 18' (2003), casted along with Telugu actor Tarun, Trisha Krishnan and Reema Sen.Before the release of Ishtam, Saran signed three mega-budget films; Santosham, Nuvve Nuvve and Tagore with the industry's top heroes, Nagarjuna, Tarun and Chiranjeevi respectively.She signed for Nagarjuna's Santosham (2002).
